Who has not felt what is called an inspirational gap? The moment when we don't want to continue doing the same thing as before but we don't know what is new that we really want to do either.

 

I take my camera and begin to wander through the streets of my beloved Barrio Bellavista in Recoleta, Santiago, reaching Patronato. I set myself a task that later becomes a passion: photographing people who catch my eye, explaining why and asking for their permission. The result is a rich set of photographs that move me every time I see them and the possibility of meeting very interesting people. Not all of these photos will become paintings, but the people who posed for them will forever remain in my heart.
